“The block below you is the last thing they hold on this continent. Somewhere on those roofs is the officer who has been ordering the shelling of our foundries. Kill him, thin his escort, and get out.”
“Two things will kill you. Their counter-snipers — watch for the glint. And their spotter, who calls artillery on wherever they last heard you. Neither of them can hit a ghost.”
“Objectives: eliminate the high value target, bring the escort down to seven, then reach the extraction beacon. I will be in your ear.”
You are a master sniper of the El Centaur, a machine species at war. Armour keeps you alive; the gravity grapple keeps you invisible.
The loop: shoot from a rooftop → they begin working out where you are → grapple away before they finish → fire from a new angle. Every shot is a choice: one more kill from here, or move first.
Three shots from the same roof and you are located. Snipers aim, and the spotter calls artillery on your last known position — so make sure that is not where you are standing.
Both are built. Swap any time in-game with G. Tell me which one feels right.
